Students in Drawing and Painting learn how to create images with various materials. (graphite, charcoal, colored pencil, pastel, ink, watercolor, acrylic, etc.) Students start off the semester focusing on learning how to "see" and think differently. Questions that arise in class are not limited to one answer and a problem that a student faces may have a variety of solutions. The goal for the course is for each student to become comfortable problem solving and to gain confidence in drawing and painting.
